Fees:
Social Justice education is often requested by individuals or organisations with very little budgets. In lieu of payments, I've received tshirts, meals, fantastik coffee dates. I agree with Andrea Smith that "the revolution will not be funded".
When possible, facilitation fees are generally sliding scale and can be on hourly basis or a lump honararium. In considering how much energy is invested in preparing workshops, I have been paid between 20-225$ per hour.
